Sean C. Bruno, Principal
Welcome to the Fred W. Hill School website.
The Hill School Learning Community is comprised of wonderful families who send us over 560 magnificent children enrolled in grades 4 and 5. We employ the most dedicated and caring adults who have uncompromising commitment and passion towards educational excellence for our students.
Our mission at Hill is simple:
Educational Excellence for All!
Behavioral, social, emotional, physical, and academic excellence for every student, every day!
Achieving our mission at Hill was stated best by Vince Lombardi:
“…we are going to relentlessly chase perfection, knowing full well we will not catch it, because nothing is perfect. But we are going to relentlessly chase it, because in the process we will catch excellence.”
In our pursuit of excellence, we strive to educate all students to think critically, to be life-long learners and to be productive members of a diverse society.
Our students receive a strong foundation in mathematics, language arts, science, and social studies with specialized instruction in art, music, library, and physical education so that they will be successful in the upper grades and beyond!
In addition to an excellent curriculum, our school also offers a wide variety of clubs and activities, including many academic intervention and enrichment programs.
Please enjoy the pages of our website. They were created and are maintained for you.
